Monitor Taaj started training capoeira in York in 2010 under the guidance of Profesor Edy. Two years later he started training with Contra-Mestre Negoteta. In 2016 he started teaching capoeira in Warrington.
"I feel that music in capoeira is extremely important so I start my classes with a half hour music class, we then warm up and practice movements and sequences, for the last 10 minutes of my class we normally have a short roda where we put what we learn into practice."
